Default Checking in from Winchester

Hay guys checking in from Winchester.
I've got my FJ40 for for my 16th birthday. That was 26 years ago. Drove it for 6 months and parked it to fix it up. In high school I could not afore to fix it so it sat until I had the time and money to fix it. It took me 5 years to fix the Rot in the body and I did a spring over axle, scout powerstearing, chevy SM465 trans, 4.88, and lockers F&R on 36 Irocs. I go wheeling at Rouch, Anthrosite, the Cove, and Caose. Mostly with the Capital Land Cruiser Club
Here is a pick of My Junk!

It's a nice park. I'm interested in the camping area that is coming.

We usually stay at Earthday Campground in the Barry House. I don't camp much unless its backpacking. Spending a day on dirt bikes I don't want to sleep in a tent.

I would have to agree with you there. How was Earthday Camp ground.
Not so bad in the land cruiser all day then sleeping in a tent.
They are building a camp sight with a connecting road to the park. Should be nice.

I have never been to the campground. The house we stay at is 1/2 mile away. So I can't tell you about that. However the people are very nice and accommodating. The house is always clean. They have been talking for years about connecting it to AOAA. The land backs right up to it. But there are some scary stuff on that side of the park.

Its unmarked and generally closed. We went on a marked event a couple of years ago and came across a sinkhole right off the trail you couldn't see due to weeds and it was 15' in diameter and we couldn't see the bottom. So they have to get all that straight before they open it to riding.
