Ouch! That diff looks super unhappy! Atleast it is still a fairly cheap vehicle. $3700 with a whole bunch of brand new stuff isn't too bad at all.

Need any parts? Going to yank the engine/trans (5.0/zf5) for a future project but the rest is going to scrap.

Haha no thanks mine is all new. Just bought a power steering pump.

Although it would be nice to have an extended cab. Maybe swap my whole drive train over to your frame/body?

But I'll never do it. Just don't have that kind of time.

Starter died in my buddies driveway in upstate NY. Good thing I can do this quick. About 15 minutes.

Was like laying on an ice cube.

Just in case you were wondering what $1500 looks like.

Ouch. But at least that makes all the big ticket items new/rebuilt now, right?

That does suck, but like Joe said, at least you have almost a brand new old truck.

So this weekend was busy. Company golf outing all day on Saturday that I ran for 80 people. Riding dirty bikes on Sunday. However somewhere in there the no-start issue creeped up again. Was weird. Literally did 10 min of troubleshooting and found the neg cable from the fuse box to the battery terminal had a bad connection. So I cut the ends and put connectors on and good to go!.

Just picked it up.

Bed is still misaligned. He said it needs shimming. Body mounts weren’t the problem.

Put a new radio in.

Drove the truck 300+ miles this weekend. Did awesome. Has a bit of a harmonic noise at 55-65 mph. I’m going to look at the driveshaft to check the ujoints. Other than that was awesome.

Ran 70+ mph with no problems.

Can also feel more bumps from the poly vs rubber bushings and front end feels way tighter.

Left on the list:

AC
Recover Seat
Paint
Shim bed
